About The Position

The Overnight Backroom Associate helps deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and following operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards. The associate may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. Responsibilities may include processing merchandise for the sales floor, supporting store recovery and safety, and assisting with customer transactions and loyalty programs.

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
