About The Position

The Overnight Backroom Associate is responsible for helping deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role is located at the TJ Maxx store at 2700 Plank Road in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and is temporary. The starting pay range is $13.25 to $13.75 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in keeping the entire store clean.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
