Overhead Hot Stick Troubleshooters are responsible for the maintenance and repair of electric transmission and distributions systems. Candidate will work in the field, usually under abnormal system conditions, principally in connection with the operation, maintenance and repair of overhead, pad-mounted, and occasionally underground plant and equipment, with a focus on service continuity. The work of the Overhead Hot Stick Trouble Shooter involves work on energized and de-energized lines and equipment, at all voltage levels, utilizing Eversource approved work methods, equipment, and tools. Adheres to a culture of safety at all times. Work is performed in stations, buildings and in the field, in connection with the inspection, operation and clearing or repair of faulty and unsafe conditions on transmission, distribution system supply, distribution, and street lighting systems, apparatus and equipment, requiring considerable independent judgment. The Overhead Hot Stick Trouble Shooter is responsible for working in a safe and productive manner while adhering to Eversource standards and work methods resulting in work of high quality. Assumes the responsibilities of all lower classifications of an Overhead Line Worker.
