About The Position

The Overhead Distribution CDL Laborer/Groundman supports the Construction team by preparing and cleaning construction sites, removing debris and potential hazards, loading and unloading building materials, operating equipment and machines, and assisting craft workers. The role involves identifying utilities and monitoring digging to help prevent utility strikes, manually digging as needed, maintaining equipment, restocking trucks with supplies, and seeding and spreading straw. Work is performed in a field environment and may involve inclement weather and physically demanding tasks. Pay rate is $22.00–$28.00. The company does not provide per diem or housing, and this is not hitch work.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current and valid state driver's license.
Current and valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, standing, and twisting.
Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more or 20 inches or less, ability to judge distance and space relationships, precise hand-eye coordination, and ability to identify and distinguish colors.
