About The Position

Axiom Space is hiring an Outsource Manufacturing Coordinator to coordinate outsourced manufacturing requests and test support from the request-for-quote process through receipt of finished goods. The role is the primary liaison between Axiom Space and its vendors, helping ensure that vendor work meets engineering, manufacturing, project, quality, and delivery requirements. It reports to the Production Planning Manager and is based onsite at Axiom Space’s SSDF facility. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and/or five years of relevant manufacturing, supply chain, or production experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must have experience with machining practices, procurement methods, and interpretation of engineering design products. Work is generally in an office environment, though tasks may involve indoor or outdoor work. Evening and weekend work may be needed for critical project milestones.
