About The Position

The Outside Services Supervisor at The Woodlands Country Club, Trails Course in The Woodlands, Texas, oversees guest services and outside operations. The role assists golfers with bags and equipment, manages the bag drop and coordinates tee times, cart rentals, and related services. It supervises outside service staff and oversees the care of golf carts, range equipment, practice facilities, and golf-related inventory. The supervisor also enforces course rules and safety standards, addressing guest concerns and operational issues professionally.

Requirements

Previous experience in golf course operations or a similar role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Knowledge of golf equipment and terminology.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours.

Responsibilities

Welcome golfers and assist with their bags and equipment while providing exceptional customer service.
Manage the golf bag drop area and support a smooth, efficient check-in process.
Coordinate tee times, cart rentals, and other golf-related services for guests.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and courteously.
Train, schedule, supervise, and motivate outside service staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of golf carts, clubs, and practice facilities.
Monitor the proper functioning of golf carts, range equipment, and practice areas.
Report equipment or facility issues to the Director of Golf or General Manager.
Maintain an inventory of range balls, tees, and other golf-related items.
Enforce golf course rules and regulations to support a safe and enjoyable guest experience.
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards, including chemical handling and disposal.
Address safety concerns promptly and take necessary corrective actions.
