About The Position

The Golf Outside Services Supervisor works at The Woodlands Country Club, Trails Course in The Woodlands, Texas. The role provides welcoming, efficient service to golfers and oversees outside service staff, golf equipment, facilities, and inventory. The supervisor helps create positive experiences for team members, members, and guests while maintaining service, safety, and professionalism standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in golf course operations or a similar role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Knowledge of golf equipment and terminology.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours.

Responsibilities

Welcome golfers and assist with bags and equipment while providing customer service.
Manage the golf bag drop area and support an efficient check-in process.
Coordinate tee times, cart rentals, and other golf-related services for guests.
Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and courteously.
Train and schedule outside service staff.
Supervise and motivate staff to maintain service and professionalism standards.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of golf carts, clubs, and practice facilities.
Monitor the proper functioning of golf carts, range equipment, and practice areas.
Report equipment or facility issues to the Director of Golf or General Manager.
Maintain inventory of range balls, tees, and other golf-related items.
Enforce golf course rules and regulations to promote a safe and enjoyable guest experience.
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards, including chemical handling and disposal.
Address safety concerns promptly and take necessary corrective actions.
