About The Position

The Crosby Club in San Diego, California, is hiring a full-time Outside Services Attendant to assist guests and members with outside services and create a positive experience. The role supports clubhouse and golf operations, including cart and bag services, tournament setup, practice-range maintenance, rental-club services, and some food and beverage activities. The position is part of Troon, a golf, hospitality, and community management company.

Requirements

• Less than a high school education, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform job duties, including communicating with English-speaking customers or coworkers and using equipment manuals in English.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot.
• Assist with setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide courteous service to guests, including handling golf bags and cleaning clubs.
• Keep the cart staging area, podium, and bag drop area neat and orderly.
• Keep the cart storage and cart wash-down areas clean and orderly.
• Prepare golf carts for play according to Troon Golf standards.
• Help educate players about course policies, cart policies, and pace of play.
• Assist players with changing golf spikes when needed.
• Maintain the practice facility by providing practice balls, bag stands, den caddies, and/or ball pyramids, and monitor ball inventory throughout the day.
• May direct the start of play.
• Maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs; assist renters and clean rental clubs upon return.
• Assist with food and beverage activities.
• Clean golfers’ clubs after play.
• Incorporate safe work practices and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.
