About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring an Outside Sales Retail Account Manager, Heavy Equipment at their rental facility in Stafford, VA. This role involves serving as an advocate and expert for construction equipment brands, building strong relationships with buyers and prospective clients, and becoming an expert in EquipmentShare's heavy equipment sales. The position requires nurturing and managing a book of business, fulfilling unique equipment needs, and resolving customer issues. The role also involves potentially managing sales pipelines for other nearby markets and developing new sales strategies. EquipmentShare emphasizes a people-first approach powered by technology, aiming to make jobs easier, safer, and more connected.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in B2B sales in the construction-related industry.
  • A drive to provide a fantastic customer service experience.
  • Driven and an influencer that is never satisfied with “good enough” results.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Willingness to solve any problem thrown your way.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry knowledge (rental or construction equipment) and experience in B2B sales is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an advocate and expert for EquipmentShare and certain construction equipment brands.
  • Build solid relationships with construction equipment buyers and prospective clients in your region.
  • Educate prospective customers on the benefits of purchasing from an EquipmentShare dealership location.
  • Nurture, manage, and inform relationships to keep them up-to-date on new promotions and fulfill their unique equipment needs.
  • Answer customer questions and resolve issues.
  • Manage sales pipelines for other nearby markets in your region.
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to grow your business and the company’s footprint.
