About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring an Outside Sales Retail Account Manager, Heavy Equipment at their rental facility in Wichita, KS. This role involves serving as an advocate and expert for construction equipment brands, building relationships with buyers and prospective clients, and educating customers on the benefits of purchasing from an EquipmentShare dealership. The position requires managing a book of business, nurturing relationships, and staying updated on promotions. The role also involves answering customer questions, resolving issues, and potentially managing sales pipelines for other markets. The company utilizes a proprietary T3 platform to support employees and aims to transform the construction industry through technology and innovation.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in B2B sales in the construction-related industry.
  • A drive to provide a fantastic customer service experience.
  • Driven and an influencer that is never satisfied with “good enough” results.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry knowledge (rental or construction equipment) and experience in B2B sales is preferred, but not required.
  • Quick on your feet and willing to solve any problem thrown your way.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an advocate and expert for EquipmentShare and certain construction equipment brands.
  • Build solid relationships with construction equipment buyers and prospective clients in your region.
  • Educate prospective customers on the benefits of purchasing from an EquipmentShare dealership location.
  • Nurture, manage, and inform relationships within your book of business, keeping them updated on new promotions and fulfilling their unique equipment needs.
  • Quickly answer customer questions and thoroughly resolve issues.
  • Manage sales pipelines for other nearby markets in your region.
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to grow your business and the company’s footprint.
