EquipmentShare is hiring an Outside Sales Retail Account Manager, Heavy Equipment at our rental facility in Virginia Beach, VA. This role is focused on transforming the construction industry through innovative technology, real-time support, and a dedicated team. The position offers a base salary plus uncapped commission with no market restrictions, and the opportunity to grow with a people-first company powered by cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate will be energetic, driven, and passionate about building the future of construction.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in B2B sales in the construction-related industry.
  • A drive to provide a fantastic customer service experience.
  • Driven and an influencer that is never satisfied with “good enough” results.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Willingness to solve any problem thrown your way.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry knowledge (rental or construction equipment) and experience in B2B sales.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an advocate and expert for EquipmentShare and certain construction equipment brands.
  • Build solid relationships with construction equipment buyers and prospective clients in your region, focusing on long-lasting relationships rather than transactional interactions.
  • Become an expert in EquipmentShare heavy equipment sales to educate prospective customers on the benefits of purchasing from an EquipmentShare dealership.
  • Nurture, manage, and inform your book of business, keeping clients updated on new promotions and fulfilling their unique equipment needs.
  • Be the point of contact for customers, quickly answering questions and thoroughly resolving issues.
  • Manage sales pipelines for other nearby markets in your region.
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to grow your business and the company’s footprint.
