About The Position

Right at Home SLC is seeking a community-oriented Outside Sales Representative to connect families in Salt Lake County and Davis County with non-medical home care services, including care for adults with disabilities. The representative makes personal visits to help families access the right care at the right time. The role is field-based approximately 75% of the time, with the remaining time in the office, and includes flexible scheduling to accommodate events, client start-ups, and possible needs outside normal office hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Sales Representative; healthcare or home care experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with connections in the local community.
• Flexible availability to respond to calls and emails as needed.
• Availability for on-call duty outside normal office hours as required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to pass a Health Department background check, DMV check, and drug test.

Nice To Haves

• An associate or bachelor's degree in health administration, social work, or a related field.
• Sales experience in healthcare or home care.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective clients and referral sources in the community and build relationships with them.
• Maintain a consistent field presence, approximately 75% of the time.
• Handle follow-ups, emails, and calls.
• Generate and maintain a pipeline of at least 40 referral sources per week.
• Collaborate with the internal team to support smooth onboarding of new clients.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for families exploring home care options.
• Represent Right at Home at local events, health fairs, and networking opportunities.
• Pre-plan weekly sales activities and create opportunities to communicate with referral sources.
• Maintain sales activity in a Customer Relationship Manager database.
• Respond to calls and emails as needed and be available for on-call duty outside normal office hours.
