About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Outside Sales Representative to lead sales efforts throughout Canada, while also supporting broader North American and international markets as needed. This is a fully remote position for a candidate based in Canada who is able to travel frequently. This role requires regular travel for client meetings, site visits, trade shows, conferences, and company events. We are looking for a self-driven sales professional with strong technical aptitude, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs. As the face of the company across Canada, you will play a key role in expanding market presence and maintaining our reputation as a leader in environmental monitoring technology.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in outside sales, preferably involving technical, scientific, industrial, or instrumentation products
  • Strong understanding of environmental monitoring systems or the ability to quickly develop technical product knowledge
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote role while effectively managing priorities and multiple customer accounts
  • Proficiency with Zoho CRM and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout Canada, including overnight travel, to support customers, trade shows, and company events
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally if required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities across government, research, industrial, and environmental sectors throughout Canada
  • Conduct in-person site visits, product demonstrations, and technical consultations with new and existing clients
  • Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation and quoting through closing and post-sale follow-up support
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for account growth and repeat business
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, support, and marketing teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events across Canada to represent the company and generate new business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer information within Zoho CRM
