About The Position

4Rivers Equipment in Hobbs, NM is seeking to fill a full-time Outside Sales Representative position. The successful candidate will drive the expansion of customer relationships by fostering new connections and nurturing existing partnerships. This role is crucial in maximizing gross margin contributions through the sales of new and used Large Construction Equipment and attachments in an assigned area or by account. We are looking for a self-motivated and outgoing individual ready to make a significant impact.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred.
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
Self-motivated with basic computer skills.
Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Minimum of two years of sales or industry-related experience.
Professional appearance, good language and social skills.
Proficiency in operating a motor vehicle day or night, maintaining a good driving record for insurability. May require obtaining a Commercial Driver License (CDL).
Demonstrate equipment safety practices.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain written customer call schedules, leveraging the company-supplied CRM tool.
Prospect for new accounts and facilitate the acquisition of Customer Applications.
Manage a list of active deals, ensuring timely follow-up and action plans, while keeping the Store Manager informed.
Provide quotes for purchases and conduct machine appraisals for trade-ins and potential inventory acquisitions.
Assist in the collection of payments due on sales when necessary.
Continuously enhance and maintain product knowledge.
