About The Position

At Brown Equipment Company (BEC), we don’t just sell equipment — we help communities keep their streets clean, sewers flowing, and infrastructure running. Our customers depend on us, and our Equipment Consultants are trusted advisors who build long-term partnerships and deliver real solutions. This is a territory-based role requiring daily travel, focused on building relationships, solving problems, and helping cities and towns find the right equipment solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of direct sales experience to municipalities
  • Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships
  • Strong consultative selling and closing skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel daily
  • Must live within or near the assigned territory

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with municipal customers
  • Identify opportunities and recommend equipment solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service
  • Represent BEC with professionalism, integrity, and passion
