Under the supervision of the Parts Manager, the Outside Parts Salesperson is responsible for achieving maximum sales volume by developing relationships with customers. This role involves soliciting parts business from assigned accounts through face-to-face and phone contacts, prospecting for new customers, and developing the sales territory. The salesperson will also answer phones, take orders, assist customers in finding correct parts, prices, and availability, research parts requests, and process orders. Additionally, they will advise customers of any changes to their orders and follow up with customers via phone or email when information is requested.
