About The Position

Sid Harvey’s, an HVAC wholesale distributor of heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment and products, is seeking a full-time HVAC Outside Sales Person for its Appleton, WI Location. The role focuses on improving sales growth, providing excellent customer service, and generating sales through add-on and up-selling. The position requires representing Sid Harvey’s professionally while performing all job responsibilities safely, promptly, and efficiently.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license and 3 years of safe driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass drug test, credit and background search.
• High School Graduate or equivalency diploma required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Sid Harvey products (i.e. Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating).

Responsibilities

• Growing sales.
• Maintaining customer profiles and other data on the salesperson’s account.
• Completing all Customer Relationship Management Forms.
• Achieving monthly growth of gross profit dollars as compared to prior year performance for assigned accounts.
• Providing constant competitive feedback to the Regional Sales Manager or Territory Manager.
• Keeping Manager informed about customer relationships, results of sales calls, new accounts, and competition activities.
• Presenting Professional Sales Presentations.
• Conducting self in a professional and ethical manner at all times, treating external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect.
• Demonstrating knowledge of Sid Harvey products (Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating) to meet customer needs.
• Updating and maintaining customer’s pricing files.
• Continuous cold calling to build new business.
• Continuously updating product knowledge through available resources, staying informed and educated on product inventory and applicability, and knowing the location of merchandise in the warehouse.
• Performing all duties in a safe manner, following all safety rules, and informing the Regional Manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.
• Assisting in year-end physical inventories as requested.
• Performing other responsibilities as directed.
