About The Position

Marigold Health is seeking an experienced outreach professional passionate about recovery to lead a team of Outreach Specialists while remaining active in community outreach. The Outreach Supervisor coaches and supervises specialists who connect people to Marigold’s peer support app, develops provider and community partnerships, and provides in-person peer recovery coaching when assigned. The position calls for a natural leader committed to mental health and substance use recovery who enjoys working in the community.

This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Director of Partnership Success and working closely with the Chief Medical Officer. The role involves extensive travel across Delaware, up to approximately 75%, and schedule flexibility that can include early mornings (5–6 AM), evenings, and weekends. Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in community outreach, healthcare engagement, or a related role.
• Experience mentoring or guiding peers and readiness to lead a team.
• Lived experience with, or a strong understanding of, substance use and/or mental health recovery.
• Delaware Peer Support Specialist certification or active progress toward certification through training and/or supervised hours.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build trust with members, partners, and teammates.
• Understanding of the boundary between recovery coaching and clinical care, and ability to maintain healthy boundaries.
• Self-starter with strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Delaware, up to approximately 75%.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic startup environment.
• Schedule flexibility, including early mornings (5–6 AM), evenings, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Active Peer Support Specialist certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Outreach Specialists through weekly supervision, real-time field or virtual coaching, and serving as their first point of contact for outreach questions.
• Set team schedules; approve PTO, timecards, and expense reports; and manage team performance.
• Help onboard and train new Outreach Specialists, reinforcing workflows, tools, and best practices.
• Conduct community site visits and outreach, help people enroll in Marigold, and hand them off to Peer Support Specialists.
• Build relationships with subcontracted providers and community organizations, and represent Marigold at provider meetings and community events.
• Identify referral trends, partner feedback, and process gaps, and bring improvement ideas to leadership.
• When assigned, facilitate in-person individual or group peer support in accordance with Peer Support supervision, documentation, and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate, timely records of outreach and enrollments, and appropriately escalate safety or compliance concerns.
