Outpatient Therapy Coordinator
About The Position
Concordia at Cabot is seeking an organized, dependable Outpatient Therapy Coordinator to support its outpatient therapy team. The coordinator helps patients feel welcome and keeps their care on schedule by handling appointment scheduling, phone calls, patient assistance, chart preparation, intake paperwork, insurance verification and authorizations, and coordination with referring physicians. The role also maintains organized records, completes reports, supports the therapy team, protects patient confidentiality, and follows department procedures. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available. The schedule is Monday through Friday with no weekends, and the starting pay is $16 per hour. The position is in person.
Requirements
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Clear, friendly communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple office responsibilities.
Nice To Haves
- Previous medical office experience is preferred.
- Computer skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments and answer phones.
- Assist patients, including collecting co-pays.
- Prepare patient charts and intake paperwork.
- Verify insurance and obtain authorizations.
- Coordinate paperwork and communication with referring physicians.
- Maintain organized records and complete reports.
- Support the outpatient therapy team.
