About The Position

Iris Telehealth is seeking a passionate Psychiatrist (MD/DO) licensed in California for a fully remote, outpatient opportunity. This role involves treating patients ages 13+ with various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, substance use disorders, and dual diagnoses. The position offers a 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday, in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone. The psychiatrist will work within a Tribal Health Program & FQHC setting, supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and a robust administrative team. Initial evaluations are 60 minutes, and follow-up appointments are 30 minutes, with 60 minutes of administrative time daily. The EMR system used is eClinicalWorks. This role is 100% remote and does not involve on-call duties.

Requirements

Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency
Active California medical license (MD or DO)
Availability for 40 hours per week during PST business hours
Experience and comfort treating patients across varying acuity levels
Experience treating adolescents and adults (ages 13+)
Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality behavioral health care to patients ages 13+
Treat patients with diagnoses including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, substance use disorders, dual diagnoses, and other mental health conditions, including complex, generational, and historical trauma
Conduct initial evaluations (60 minutes)
Conduct follow-up appointments (30 minutes)
Utilize eClinicalWorks EMR system
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts in psychiatry, neurology, and psychology
Work closely with a dedicated and supportive care team to meet patient needs effectively
Focus on delivering impactful care with 60 minutes of administrative time per day
