Outpatient Psychiatrist (Child or Adult)

LifeStance Health•Lexington, MA

About The Position

LifeStance is hiring an outpatient psychiatrist specializing in adult or child/adolescent psychiatry. Psychiatrists focus on patient care while dedicated teams manage billing, technology, and administrative work. Local clinical leadership provides ongoing support and consultation. Psychiatrists work alongside therapists, neuropsychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners in a collaborative clinical environment. The role offers in-person or hybrid practice models, with clinicians setting their own scheduled hours and appointment lengths. Care Matching helps build a caseload around clinicians’ interests and expertise. Psychiatrists may integrate psychotherapy into their practice and can access Grand Rounds, weekly consultation hours with clinical leadership, a CME stipend, and training in TMS and other innovative therapies. Compensated opportunities to supervise newly graduated PMHNPs are available. The practice provides well-appointed offices, an EMR system with electronic prescribing, peer consultation groups, and support staff who assist with credentialing, insurance authorizations, appointment scheduling, and payment collection. The position is outpatient and weekday-based, with part-time or full-time options. The estimated annual compensation is $300,000–$373,000, based on productivity.
