A Server is responsible for providing excellent guest service by taking food and beverage orders, delivering orders accurately and efficiently, and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Servers are expected to maintain knowledge of menu items, handle guest concerns professionally, and support overall restaurant operations by working collaboratively with kitchen and team members.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Present menus, take orders, and answer questions about menu items.
Provide recommendations and upsell specials or additional items.
Input orders accurately into the POS system and ensure timely delivery to the kitchen.
Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Monitor table cleanliness and promptly clear dishes and utensils.
Prepare and deliver accurate checks, handle payments, and process transactions.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and cleanup.
Uphold a positive attitude and teamwork mentality.
