Outdoor Power Equipment Sales Associate [JLW]
About The Position
JAX Outdoor Gear, Farm & Ranch in Loveland is hiring a part-time Outdoor Power Equipment Sales Associate. The role combines customer service and sales with troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing outdoor power equipment. The associate greets customers, answers questions, makes product suggestions, and helps customers with equipment repairs and maintenance. They also perform department tasks such as creating work orders, locating receipts or warranties, and looking up parts. The associate helps keep the department operating efficiently by stocking shelves, assisting the Department Manager, maintaining a clean and well-stocked area, and sharing customer feedback with Department Managers and the Buyers Team. A flexible schedule is required, including availability at least one weekend day. Pay is $15.16 to $16.25 per hour.
Requirements
- Previous knowledge of or retail experience with outdoor power or automotive equipment is required.
- Computer proficiency is required.
- Flexible schedule and availability at least one weekend day are required.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide honest, informative answers to their questions.
- Recommend products and learn about products to better assist customers.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair outdoor power equipment.
- Create work orders, locate past receipts or warranties, and look up parts.
- Accurately process payments and assist with cashiering.
- Stock shelves and assist the Department Manager.
- Share customer feedback with Department Managers and the Buyers Team.
- Help with visual merchandising and maintain a clean, well-stocked area.
- Complete record-keeping tasks and contribute to reports.
- Assist with loss prevention and inventory responsibilities.
- Communicate professionally and present a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Support teamwork and build positive working relationships with co-workers.
