About The Position
Snider Fleet Solutions is hiring an experienced OTR Tire Technician to service customers’ OTR tire and wheel needs offsite using a company-provided service truck. The role includes servicing construction, earthmoving, mining, agricultural, and other OTR tire and wheel products by inspecting, repairing, replacing, and properly mounting and dismounting them. Technicians travel up to 75% within the region and follow applicable safety requirements, TIA standards, company policies, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of OTR experience.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class C driver’s license and insurability to meet company standards.
- Current DOT Medical Certification.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Commercial and OTR TIA Certification, required within 6 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- MSHA Certification.
Responsibilities
- Safely service customer equipment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Operate hydraulic jacks, power hoists, and lug wrenches to service OTR tires.
- Mount and dismount various OTR tires according to industry best practices.
- Inspect, repair, replace, and properly mount or dismount OTR tire and wheel products.
- Travel up to 75% within the region to meet customer and company needs.
- Adhere to TIA standards, policies, and safety practices.
