About The Position

Pomp’s Tire Service is hiring an OTR Tire Service Technician to repair, inspect, and maintain heavy-duty tires in an outdoor environment. The role involves on-site tire service for OTR and/or large equipment vehicles at customer locations, including roadside service in all weather conditions. The technician safely operates company service vehicles and equipment, maintains tools and the work area, and follows training, safety procedures, job duties, and company policies. The position requires independent work with minimal supervision and willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B) and ability to pass a pre-employment driver’s file review.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience working with OTR, heavy-duty, or commercial tires.
• Ability to safely change and repair commercial tires in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 250 pounds occasionally, with or without mechanical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company service vehicles to rack and hoist vehicles for inspection.
• Perform on-site tire installations and repairs on OTR and/or large equipment vehicles at customer locations.
• Operate company vehicles safely and comply with speed and traffic regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide roadside tire service.
• Participate in ongoing training and follow safety procedures, job duties, and company policies.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.
