About The Position

Clean Harbors is hiring an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join its safety-conscious team in Kent, Washington. The route runs from the Pacific Northwest to Kimball, Nebraska, averaging 2,800–3,000 miles per week, with weekly home time. Drivers average $90,000–$120,000 per year, with weekly earning potential of $2,200–$2,300. Compensation includes hourly wages for all on-duty non-driving time and mileage pay. Per diem may apply, and a $7,500 sign-on bonus is available. The role involves operating tractor-trailer units and other vehicles while transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Drivers must follow safety practices, comply with applicable company and Department of Transportation requirements, and maintain required trip, time, expense, and vehicle inspection records.

Requirements

Class A CDL.
At least 12 months of Class A driving experience.
HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
Ability to effectively use required technology, such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

Make health and safety the top priority by complying with safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting safely at all times.
Operate tractor-trailer units and other vehicles.
Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of units.
Ensure hazardous and non-hazardous waste is properly loaded and unloaded, and secure loads properly.
Placard vehicles in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation requirements and regulations.
Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
