OS&D Representative

About The Position
A. Duie Pyle is seeking an OS&D (Over, Short & Damage) Representative to perform quality control inspections on freight shipments. The role fields calls about delivery discrepancies and contacts customers and other terminals to resolve problems. It also supports dock inspections and tagging, OS&D documentation, appointments and bring backs, and projects requested by terminal management.
Requirements
- Ability to interface effectively with Pyle personnel and customers.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to demonstrate a customer-first mentality.
- Strong attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Previous dock and/or warehouse operations experience.
Responsibilities
- Field calls from drivers regarding delivery discrepancies.
- Contact customers and other terminals to resolve OS&D problems.
- Assist with projects as needed by terminal management.
- Scan and type OS&D-related bills.
- Assist in inspecting and tagging OS&D freight on the dock.
- Provide backup for appointments and bring backs.
