About The Position

Carondelet Medical Group is seeking a fellowship-trained Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon to join a high-volume, rapidly expanding orthopedic program on the St. Joseph's Hospital campus in Tucson. This role offers a referral-rich environment with a strong clinical infrastructure, eliminating the need to build a practice from scratch. The Joint Replacement Center is certified for knee, hip, shoulder, and ankle procedures, providing comprehensive support for surgical success. This is an opportunity for a surgeon to perform the work they trained for with a supportive team and advanced tools.

Requirements

MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Total Joint / Adult Reconstruction
Arizona licensed or eligible to obtain state licensure

Responsibilities

Perform approximately 8–12 surgeries per week.
See an average of 25 patients per clinic day.
Utilize the MAKO robotic-assisted surgery system.
Provide care within a Certified Joint Replacement Center covering knee, hip, shoulder, and ankle procedures.
Work within an on-campus clinic, OR, and inpatient setting for seamless patient transitions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team with full ancillary support.
Participate in a shared call schedule.
Practice within a physician-led model offering clinical autonomy.
Leverage in-house support for marketing, business development, billing, credentialing, HR, and compliance.
