About The Position

Valley Baptist Physician Network is expanding its orthopedic program and seeking a fellowship-trained Hip & Joint Surgeon to join an established, multi-specialty group in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley. You'll operate within a 586-bed Level II Trauma Center equipped with cutting-edge surgical technology — including da Vinci robotic systems, Brainlab computer navigation, and an AIRO mobile intraoperative CT — bringing capabilities to South Texas that are rare in markets this size. A dedicated Ortho/Trauma floor, an on-site Ortho Trauma provider for VBMC coverage, and an MOB connected directly to the hospital OR mean your time goes to patients, not logistics. This is a high-impact opportunity in a fast-growing region where your skills will genuinely shape the standard of orthopedic care.

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Hip & Joint reconstruction preferred; extensive clinical experience considered
Trauma Certification a plus

Responsibilities

Hip & joint orthopedic surgery
Split time between clinic and OR block time
Perform 70/30 inpatient/outpatient case mix
Participate in 3-5 call days per month, inclusive of general ortho call
