Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP)
About The Position
Prime Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join its Surgery Clinic team at St. Mary's of Nazareth in Chicago. This is a full-time position in orthopedic surgery, based in an established outpatient setting, with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The Nurse Practitioner will provide patient-centered care, manage an individual patient panel, and have opportunities to support continuity of care. The role includes serving as first assist in the operating room and collaborating closely with physicians, other advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no call responsibility.
Requirements
- Licensed and certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Illinois.
- At least 2 years of experience, as stated in the position overview.
- Experience seeing patients in a clinic setting and serving as first assist in the operating room.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.

- Prior experience in general surgery is preferred.
