Orthopedic Surgeon - AI Research Participants - United States (Remote)
About The Position
Prolific is seeking registered physicians, including orthopedic surgeons and physicians from any medical specialty, to join its Expert Network for paid research and AI-related tasks. Applicants must currently reside in the United States, hold a current US medical license, and be willing to provide an NPI for credential verification. After verification, eligible participants may be invited to complete training or a qualification assessment. Those who meet project requirements and pass the assessment may be invited to apply their medical expertise to tasks as they become available. This is a remote, freelance, task-based research participation opportunity—not clinical employment or a salaried physician position. There are no guaranteed hours, task volume, or ongoing work. The indicative rate for invited paid screening is US$130 per hour, and project task rates start at US$216 per hour, subject to confirmation for each task. Before accepting a task, participants can review its details, estimated time, and confirmed pay. Applying does not guarantee an invitation, acceptance, or paid work. Participants must follow task instructions and confidentiality requirements and should not submit patient information.
Requirements
- Currently reside in the United States.
- Be a registered physician with a current US medical license; physicians from any medical specialty are welcome.
- Be willing to provide an NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding. Physician and license eligibility must also be verified.
- Be willing to complete required training or a qualification assessment after verification.
- Have access to a computer and reliable internet connection, and be able to follow detailed online instructions.
Responsibilities
- Complete expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
- Complete an assessment, if invited, to establish suitability for the project.
- If qualified and selected, apply medical expertise to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
- Follow the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task.
