Hospitalist - AI Research Participants - United States (Remote)
About The Position
Prolific is recruiting U.S.-based registered physicians for remote, freelance, task-based paid research participation involving AI-related projects. Physicians from any medical specialty may apply. This is not clinical employment or a salaried physician position, and participation does not guarantee hours, task volume, or ongoing work. Applicants must complete Prolific’s expert registration and medical-credential verification, including providing an NPI and verifying a current U.S. medical license. Eligible physicians may be invited to complete training or a qualification assessment. Those who meet project requirements and pass the assessment may be invited to project tasks. Participants can review each task’s details, estimated time, and confirmed pay before choosing whether to participate. The indicative rate is US$130 per hour for invited paid screening, with project task rates starting at US$216 per hour, subject to task-specific confirmation. Invitations, assessments, project access, and task availability depend on eligibility and project requirements. Participants need a computer, reliable internet access, and the ability to follow detailed online instructions.
Requirements
- Currently reside in the United States.
- Be a registered physician with a current U.S. medical license; physicians from any medical specialty may apply.
- Be willing to provide an NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding.
- Be willing to complete required training or a qualification assessment after verification.
- Have access to a computer and reliable internet connection, and be able to follow detailed online instructions.
Responsibilities
- Complete expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
- Complete an assessment, if invited, to establish suitability for the project.
- If qualified and selected, apply medical expertise to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
- Follow the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task.
- Do not include patient information in application materials or task submissions.
