Dermatologist - AI Research Participants - United States (Remote)
About The Position
Prolific is seeking physicians, including dermatologists and physicians from any medical specialty, to join its Expert Network for remote, task-based paid research and AI-related work. This is a research participation opportunity, not clinical employment or a salaried physician position. There are no guaranteed hours, task volume, or ongoing work. Eligible applicants must be current United States residents, registered physicians with a current U.S. medical license, and willing to provide an NPI for verification. After credential verification, applicants may be invited to complete training or a qualification assessment. Qualified physicians may then be invited to take part in project tasks as they become available. Participants can review each task’s details, estimated time, and confirmed pay before deciding whether to participate. The indicative rate for invited paid screening is US$130 per hour, and project task rates start at US$216 per hour. Rates are task-based, not guaranteed earnings; invitations, assessments, access, and task availability depend on eligibility and project requirements. Participation is remote. Applicants should not include patient information in applications or task submissions. Applicants with an existing Prolific account should follow recruitment instructions rather than create a duplicate account.
Requirements
- Current residence in the United States.
- Registered physician status with a current U.S. medical license; physicians from any medical specialty are welcome.
- Willingness to provide an NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding.
- Willingness to complete required training or a qualification assessment after verification.
- Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.
- Ability to follow detailed online instructions.
Responsibilities
- Complete expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
- Complete an assessment, if invited, to establish suitability for the project.
- If qualified and selected, apply medical expertise to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
- Follow the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task.
