About The Position

Orthopedic Associates of Hartford (OAH), in partnership with the Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network, is hiring an outpatient Physical Therapist in Glastonbury, Connecticut. The therapist will provide personalized, evidence-based care to patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgeries, and injuries. The role offers collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and other clinicians, exposure to a diverse patient population and advanced surgical procedures, and opportunities to grow within a supportive clinical environment. The position is eligible for a $12,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active or temporary Physical Therapist license in the State of Connecticut.
• Passion for outpatient orthopedics and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgeries, and injuries.
• Collaborate with OAH physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Treat conditions including sports injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, hand therapy needs, and work-related injuries, and provide dry needling and osteoporosis care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and contribute to a supportive, patient-first environment.
• Observe surgeries onsite to enhance clinical understanding and treatment planning.
