About The Position

Orthopedic Associates of Hartford (OAH), in partnership with the Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network, is hiring an outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapist in Plainville, Connecticut. The role provides personalized, evidence-based care to patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgeries, and injuries. The therapist works closely with orthopedic physicians and other clinicians in a collaborative, patient-first setting, with opportunities to gain exposure to advanced surgical procedures and observe surgeries onsite. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Clinic hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; two opening and two closing days are required. The position is eligible for a $12,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy program from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association school.
• Bachelor of Science degree or entry-level master's degree.
• Active or temporary Connecticut license.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgeries, and injuries.
• Collaborate with OAH physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Treat sports injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, hand therapy needs, and work-related injuries, and provide dry needling and osteoporosis-related care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and contribute to a supportive, patient-first environment.
• Observe surgeries onsite to enhance clinical understanding and treatment planning.
