About The Position

A private, small/boutique orthopaedic surgery practice in Boulder, Colorado, is seeking a full-time PA-C. The practice emphasizes treating patients like friends and family. The role includes clinic care, operating room and surgical work, and hospital care, including some call. The PA will work directly with the surgeon and communicate with the surgeon while providing care in settings such as ortho urgent care. The physician/surgeon will provide training based on the PA’s needs. Requirements

• NCCPA certification.
• Active Colorado state and DEA licenses, or the ability to obtain them.
• Ability to learn and use EHR systems.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and organized approach to work.
• Detail-oriented work ethic and ability to multitask efficiently while providing compassionate patient care.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficiency and desire to work independently with supervision in a small-team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic care.
• Participate in operating room and surgical care.
• Provide hospital care, including some call.
• Work directly with the surgeon and communicate with the surgeon, including in settings such as ortho urgent care.
• Learn and use the practice’s EHR systems: eClinical Works in the office and Epic at the hospital.
