About The Position

Orthopaedic Surgeon Patients come to you when pain, injury, or joint disease has taken away the life they want to live. Your work restores motion, independence, and confidence—through sound judgment in clinic and precise surgery in the operating room. This role matters because outcomes, not volume, define whether people walk, work, and return to sport.

Requirements

  • MD or DO, ABOS board-certified or board-eligible, with an unrestricted state license or clear eligibility.
  • Accredited orthopaedic residency; fellowship aligned to the practice mix where subspecialty depth is required.
  • Documented operative experience and outcomes in the procedures this service will ask you to own.
  • Ability to obtain hospital privileges; current life-support certification as required by the facility.
  • Clear communication, shared decision-making, and documentation that meets clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Habit of evidence-based practice, peer review, and measurable improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Build a balanced elective and acute practice that meets access standards and earns strong patient-reported outcomes.
  • Deliver indicated joint, fracture, sports, and general orthopaedic procedures with complication, infection, and revision rates at or better than peer benchmarks.
  • Shorten time-to-treatment for urgent cases and keep elective waits within agreed scheduling targets.
  • Lead shared plans with anesthesia, nursing, therapy, and primary care so every patient leaves with a clear recovery path.
  • Use evidence and registry data to improve implant choice, length of stay, readmission, and return-to-function.
  • Raise OR and clinic reliability by coaching advanced practice providers and trainees and closing preventable variation.
  • Shape service-line growth, block use, and quality priorities with surgical and administrative leadership.

Benefits

  • Dedicated block time
  • Modern implants
  • Navigation or robotics where clinically useful
  • Clinic, imaging, therapy, and care coordination support
  • Protected time for cases, clinic, and improvement work
  • Compensation tied to productivity, quality, and citizenship
