About The Position
Join a well-established and highly respected orthodontic center as a hands-on Orthodontic Dental Assistant. This is an active clinical role involving daily chairside work with the doctor(s), not an observational position. The assistant helps deliver high-quality orthodontic care and contributes to a positive, comfortable, and welcoming patient experience. Practical experience in an orthodontic practice is essential. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with the workday starting as early as 7:45 AM and ending as late as 5:00 PM.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on orthodontic dental assisting experience.
- Full-time availability.
- Valid dental assistant certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures, emphasizing efficiency, precision, and professionalism.
- Work closely with the doctor(s), particularly on clear aligner treatment cases, from start to finish.
- Maintain detailed and accurate electronic patient charts, including treatment plans, progress notes, and appointment documentation.
- Educate patients by providing clear, thorough instructions on orthodontic care and proper oral hygiene.
- Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient care.
