About The Position

Westrock Orthodontics is seeking a skilled, caring Orthodontic Assistant to support its patient-focused practice. The role partners with the Orthodontist during exams and treatments, assists with orthodontic procedures, prepares and maintains operatories and equipment, takes digital scans, and helps fabricate custom appliances and retainers. The assistant educates patients about treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care, maintains accurate treatment notes, and works collaboratively with teammates. The role supports the Bartlett and Cordova clinics two days per week at each clinic.

Requirements

• Current Orthodontic Assistant license.
• Familiarity with orthodontic appliances, tools, and terminology.
• Positive, patient-first attitude and strong communication skills.
• Motivation to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing team.

Nice To Haves

• Orthodontic or dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Orthodontist during exams and treatments to support patient care.

• Assist with orthodontic procedures, including placing and removing wires, bands, and retainers.
• Take digital scans and help fabricate custom appliances and retainers.
• Educate and support patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care.
• Maintain accurate treatment notes and collaborate with teammates.
• Support the Bartlett and Cordova clinics two days per week at each clinic.
