About The Position

Westrock Orthodontics is seeking a skilled, caring Orthodontic Assistant for its patient-focused practice. The role supports the Bartlett and Cordova clinics two days a week at each clinic. The assistant partners with the Orthodontist during exams and treatments, prepares and maintains operatories and equipment, assists with orthodontic procedures, takes digital scans, helps fabricate custom appliances and retainers, educates patients, maintains treatment notes, and collaborates with teammates. The company offers training for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Must have a current Orthodontic Assistant license.
• Familiarity with orthodontic appliances, tools, and terminology.
• Positive, patient-first attitude and strong communication skills.
• Desire to learn, grow, and be part of a high-performing team.

Nice To Haves

• Orthodontic or dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Orthodontist during exams and treatments to support patient care.
• Prepare and maintain operatories and equipment, keeping them organized, clean, and ready.
• Assist with orthodontic procedures, including placing and removing wires, bands, and retainers.
• Take digital scans and help fabricate custom appliances and retainers.
• Educate and support patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care.
• Keep accurate treatment notes and collaborate with teammates.
• Support the Bartlett and Cordova clinics two days per week at each clinic.
