About The Position
The Ortho Dental Assistant I assists the Orthodontist with the overall delivery of oral care and independently provides outstanding patient care. This role is an integral part of the patient care team and is expected to deliver a memorable, fun service experience for every patient. The position is based in Roseville, California. It is non-exempt and pays $20.00–$23.00 per hour. Travel to other office locations may be required.
Requirements
- Current and active CPR certification.
- Dental Assistant Certification.
- Infection Control Certificate.
- Radiation Certificate.
- Upbeat personality.

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Travel to other office locations as required.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily office opening and closing duties.
- Prepare the treatment area for patients according to procedures and protocols.
- Welcome, comfort, and seat patients in preparation for dental treatment.
- Take digital X-rays.
- Educate parents about oral hygiene and their child’s oral health.
- Hand off patients at check-out.
- Complete care calls and thank-you cards.
- Assist in managing and controlling supply inventory.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, and Dental Board requirements.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
