About The Position

Smile Brands is seeking an Ortho Dental Assistant to join the Castle Dental team in the Nashville market. This is a full-time position that travels throughout the market to support an Orthodontist. The role offers variety and flexibility while working across multiple teams and office environments. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is $18–$21 per hour.

Requirements

• Meet state-specific Registered Dental Assistant credentialing requirements.
• Dental Radiology Certification (X-ray).
• Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain it before the start date.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms according to infection control protocols.
• Educate patients about oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
