As an Organizational Change Management Consultant supporting Wellmark's Operations division, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the successful adoption of strategic and operational initiatives that support day-to-day work and advance long‑term operational excellence. You will partner closely with Operations leaders, frontline and support teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to help individuals and teams navigate change, adopt new ways of working, and realize measurable business outcomes. In this role, you will serve as both a hands-on change practitioner for high-impact operational programs - such as process optimization, technology enablement, and operating model evolution - and a trusted advisor and coach to Operations leaders and practitioners. You will equip teams with practical tools, methodologies, and strategies that build change capability within the Operations organization and enable leaders to steward change effectively amid ongoing business demands. You will also play a key role in maintaining and evolving the organization’s change management framework, ensuring it is consistently applied across Operations initiatives and aligned to enterprise direction. By providing visibility into overlapping and concurrent changes, you will help minimize disruption, reduce change fatigue, and improve adoption across operational teams. The ideal candidate is highly relational, pragmatic, and human-centric, with a strong understanding of the realities of operations environments. You bring a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with experience leading change adoption for initiatives that impact processes, systems, roles, and ways of working at scale. You excel at developing and implementing fit-for-purpose change management strategies that support operational readiness, accelerate adoption, and minimize resistance, particularly in fast-paced, execution-focused settings. You are an exceptional communicator and relationship builder, skilled at engaging stakeholders from frontline employees to senior leadership. You are comfortable facilitating discussions, coaching leaders through change, and translating complex initiatives into clear, actionable messages.
