About The Position

SCA Health is seeking an Orderly for ProHealth Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role supports nursing staff and center operations by assisting with operating room turnover, patient transfers and care, facility housekeeping, and supply management. The ideal candidate is energetic, pleasant, self-directed, accountable, and able to anticipate nursing staff needs. The posted pay range is USD $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• High school graduate.
• Ability to communicate well with patients, families, and co-workers.
• Energetic, pleasant, self-directed, accountable team player able to anticipate the needs of nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with operating room turnover.
• Help transfer patients while following proper procedures for lifting and moving them.
• Make beds and perform housekeeping duties in the facility.
• Restock and order supplies.
• Assist with patient care as needed.
• Discharge patients via wheelchair.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the center.
