About The Position

Under the direction of the RN Manager ASC KC, the Ambulatory Surgery Center RN assumes independent responsibility and accountability for the direct, primary care of patients through the pre- and post-operative phases of surgical care. The RN uses the nursing process to provide comprehensive care during the peri-operative phase and coordinates total patient care with other members of the healthcare team.

The RN serves as a patient advocate, using the Patients’ Bill of Rights, and acts as a liaison among physicians, staff, patients, and their families to facilitate safe and effective patient-care flow in accordance with Kadlec Regional Medical Center’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The role also includes supporting the direction and supervision of nursing and support staff and performing related duties as assigned. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• One year of nursing experience.
