About The Position

The Order Selector assists in maintaining high levels of accuracy and performance while fulfilling store orders and using safe work practices. The role involves gathering merchandise according to information on a tablet or pick ticket, placing items into totes or boxes, and entering data related to picking and packaging. The position also includes maintaining a safe, clean work area and following company procedures and established methods.

Requirements

• Basic awareness of problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• 0–2 years of work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Compile store orders from a tablet or pick ticket, using item locations, descriptions, and required quantities.
• Gather merchandise and place it appropriately into totes or boxes.
• Load merchandise totes or boxes weighing up to 30–50 pounds using safe lifting techniques.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety guidelines.
• Perform general housekeeping so work areas and aisles are clear of debris.
• Carry out routine distribution assignments and resolve some problems as needed.
• Follow company-defined standard operating procedures and scientific methods for daily tasks.
• Enter data for ins and outs to complete picking and packaging tasks.
