About The Position
The Order Selector picks customer orders accurately and efficiently in a warehouse that includes dry, cooler, and freezer sections. The role involves selecting items from pick slots using pick lists, building orders according to customer requests, and preparing palletized orders for next-day delivery. Requirements
- Work quickly and accurately.
- Perform repetitive lifting for 80–90% of the shift.
- Lift 10–50 pounds regularly; on rare occasions, lift up to 100 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Select customer orders from pick slots using pick lists of assorted items and build orders according to customer requests.
- Deliver merchandise to the correct dock area.
- Stack items on pallets according to driver stops for next-day delivery and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
- Operate a pallet jack and move products from racks to pallets.
- Label selected cases with order labels and use a voice-automated picking system.
- Validate that selected products are correct and undamaged.
- Notify the Stocker of empty or short slots requiring replenishment.
