About The Position

The Order Management Specialist plays an essential role in helping facilitate sales, delivery of product and customer satisfaction. The Order Management Specialist is responsible for entering orders into Netsuite, ensuring accurate pricing on the order, and assuring the product is available to fill the order. Once the order is in, they need to follow the order through to the warehouse and delivery or pick-up by the customer. The Order Management Specialist is responsible for order fulfillment, ensuring the highest levels of customer service in a high-growth and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 2-5 years of experience with Order Management
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite) and EDI (Orderful preferred)
  • Proficient technical skills: Microsoft Office, especially Word and Google Sheets, and other required computer applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timeframes and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently to prioritize tasks

Responsibilities

  • Optimize service and cost of logistics management from origin to our retail customers
  • Review incoming orders for completeness and accuracy to ensure timely delivery to our customers.
  • Accurately and efficiently process EDI and manual orders from order receipt to final delivery in NetSuite.
  • Work effectively with 3PL partners on the management of outbound shipments to customers.
  • Assist in managing EDI set-up to ensure seamless receipt of customer orders into NetSuite
  • Partner with the Sales Team to manage unique customer requests and during times of allocations or order cuts when inventory is low or out of stock.
  • Proactively communicate exceptions in delivery or order fulfillment issues to the Sales and Operations Teams, looking for opportunities to mitigate issues.
