Order Fulfillment Part Time
About The Position
The Order Fulfillment team member performs general warehouse activities and supports BJ’s digital order initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and counts with a handheld RF scanner, moving merchandise to a staging area, and securely packaging orders. The team member works to meet productivity standards and deadlines while following established operating procedures, club policies, and safety standards. The position also includes communicating inventory or equipment issues, alerting the team to expired or short-dated items, helping replenish merchandise, processing returns, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Previous order-pulling experience preferred.
- Big-box or wholesale retail experience preferred.
- Previous RF scanner experience preferred.
- Able to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; may need to lift or move heavier or awkward objects over 50 pounds with assistance.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.

Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner, verify merchandise, and move items from the sales floor to the staging area.
- Communicate inventory and equipment problems, as well as expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
- Coordinate with club team members to replenish merchandise and, when possible, pull items from reserve areas to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
- Pick orders promptly and meet productivity expectations, service-level agreements, performance metrics, goals, and deadlines.
- Follow operational processes and established procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
- Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
- Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; remove trash and cardboard and handle damaged or spoiled goods according to procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
- Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
- Support a safe, positive, inclusive environment and deliver friendly service while addressing or escalating member concerns.
- Maintain clean and organized order-storage bins in accordance with club and safety standards.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
