About The Position

The Order Filler performs warehousing activities involving receiving, storing, issuing, reconstitution, inventorying, and shipping bulk and individual gear and equipment. The role also handles accurate packing and shipping of PGI material, receives and fills customer orders, picks and packs merchandise, verifies packed items against orders, and tracks inventory and shipments. The position may also support public affairs consultants leading environmental-focused communication projects and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled environment. The position has no supervisory or management authority.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience performing warehouse duties, such as packing, shipping, receiving, filling customer orders, picking and packing merchandise, checking orders for accuracy, and tracking inventory and shipments.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and good time-management skills, with the ability to manage workload with minimal oversight.
• Ability to obtain forklift safety certification.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue, reconstitute, inventory, and ship bulk and individual gear and equipment.
• Accurately pack and ship PGI material.
• Receive and fill customer orders.
• Pick merchandise from warehouse shelves, pack it, check packed merchandise against orders for accuracy, and track inventory and shipments.
• Support public affairs consultants serving as project leads for environmental-focused communication projects.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
